Sule Calls Rival NCP's Prashant Kishor Talks 'Internal Matter'
There is a big disagreement, called a rift, between two parts of an Indian political group known as the NCP.
A woman named Supriya Sule leads one part of the group.
Another part of the group is led by a man named Ajit Pawar.
A famous election expert named Prashant Kishor met with Sunetra Pawar and her son Parth Pawar.
Sunetra Pawar is the leader of that other part of the NCP and also helps run the state of Maharashtra.
People were wondering if Prashant Kishor would start working with Sunetra Pawar's group.
Supriya Sule said that decision is their own business, calling it an "internal matter."
She also said Mr. Kishor is her good friend and works by himself, choosing who he wants to help.
Sule praised Mr. Kishor for winning a big election battle in a place called Bankipur in Bihar, against the powerful BJP party.
She said the BJP did very poorly there, even in the voting booth where its national president is registered to vote.
Supriya Sule said whether the Ajit Pawar-led NCP wants to work with Prashant Kishor is that faction's "internal matter."
Prashant Kishor met NCP chief and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar and her son, MP Parth Pawar, earlier this week.
Sule described Kishor as a longtime personal friend who works independently and decides himself whom he works with.
Sule praised Kishor for winning a "very big battle" in the Bankipur assembly by-election in Bihar against the BJP's political machine.
She noted the BJP performed badly in Bankipur even at the booth of its national president, and would consider a negative result in her own Baramati booth a serious problem.
