Andhra Pradesh to Build India's Largest Electric Air Taxi Hub
Andhra Pradesh is working with a company called Sarla Aviation to build a big factory in Anantapur to make electric air taxis.
These are small planes that can take off and land vertically, like a helicopter, and can be used to travel between cities.
The factory will start testing these planes in 2027 and start making them for sale in 2029.
The state wants to turn Anantapur and Kurnool into important places for making and using these air taxis.
