Norway's Crown Princess Needs Lung Transplant

Norway's Crown Princess Needs Lung Transplant

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, who is 52 years old, needs a lung transplant.

She was diagnosed with a lung disease called pulmonary fibrosis in 2018.

This disease makes it hard for her lungs to work properly.

Her husband, Crown Prince Haakon, is next in line to be the king of Norway.

The princess's health has been getting worse, so doctors think she needs a new lung.

This will help her breathe better and stay healthy.
