Elderly Matua man dies after train incident
A 70-year-old man named Nikhil Chandra Das, who was part of the Matua community, died after being hit by a train near a railway station in West Bengal.
His family says he was very worried about a meeting called an SIR hearing, which made him so upset that he might have intentionally gone in front of the train.
The family is worried that he thought he would have to leave India and go back to Bangladesh if his papers were not accepted.
The police are looking into what happened.
