Delhi Police Releases Video Disputing CJP Claims About Dipke

Abhijit Dipke was in Delhi when his grandmother died in Mumbai.

His party, the Cockroach Janata Party, says police did not let him talk to his family.

The party says his parents get anxious easily and that he asked to speak to his cousin.

Delhi Police says officers told him the news carefully and asked what help he wanted.

Police says they offered a phone call and help travelling to the funeral.

They also released a video of their conversation with him.

The party and police disagree about what happened.

Dipke had come to Delhi for a protest and was detained at the airport.
