Survey Highlights Persistent Grassroots Problems Ahead of Andhra Pradesh Polls

A survey was carried out in Andhra Pradesh before local elections.

It asked about problems people face in their communities.

Many respondents said drinking water, irrigation water, and roads were not good enough.

The survey presenter also pointed to sanitation problems in government schools.

He cited official figures showing that many schools had only one teacher.

He said families were paying a lot for treatment of illnesses such as dengue, malaria, and typhoid.

He also reported many dog-bite incidents across the state.

He said stronger local self-government could help address these problems.

The survey announced plans to field about 1.60 lakh candidates through the Join Ekam platform.
