Mahto's Hunger Strike Enters 10th Day Over JPSC-JSSC Allegations

A man named Devendra Nath Mahto in the Indian state of Jharkhand is very upset.

He believes the tests for important government jobs are unfair because of cheating and corruption.

To show how serious he is, he stopped eating food.

This is called a hunger strike.

He has not eaten for ten days now.

He is in a hospital in Ranchi because his body is getting weak.

He and other people protested peacefully in front of the state's law-making building.

He says police pushed the peaceful protesters and used force against them.

He wants an investigation into what happened.

He says he will keep fighting peacefully until the government makes things fair.
