BVK Demands Central Law for Temple Management

BVK Demands Central Law for Temple Management

The Bharatiya Vichara Kendram (BVK), a cultural think tank, held a meeting where they talked about problems in temples.

They said that politicians are interfering with temple management, which is causing issues like missing gold and properties.

This is making the temples less spiritual.

The BVK wants the central government to make a new law to manage temples better.

They want this law to make sure temples are run fairly and transparently, without too much government control.

They also want temples to be managed by devotees, including women, and to protect temple assets.

The BVK mentioned an old report from 1960 that suggested similar ideas but was never acted upon.

They hope the new law will help fix these problems and make temples better places for worship and tourism.
