VTU to Inspect Internship Implementation

VTU to Inspect Internship Implementation

The Vice-Chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) announced that he will appoint separate inspection squads to monitor the functioning of students and companies during internships.

This is to ensure that students do not waste time and that companies do not demand money from students after claiming to provide free internships.

The university has implemented a comprehensive internship portal where all students must register.

So far, 81,000 students have registered, and their internships will begin in the first week of February.

The university has also received complaints about fake certificates and the use of artificial intelligence by students to falsify their internship records.

Internship coordinators have been advised to be alert and resolve any problems faced by students.
