Odisha Man Bites Cobra to Death After Stepping on It

A man in India accidentally stepped on a snake called a cobra.

The cobra got angry and raised its head.

Instead of running away, the man grabbed the snake and bit its neck with his teeth.

Sadly, the snake died.

The man said a traditional healer had told him that biting a snake back would stop the poison from hurting him.

That idea is not true.

Afterward, the man felt sick and went to the hospital.

The doctors said he was okay, and they found no snakebite marks on him.

Experts said the man was very lucky that the snake did not bite him.

They say people should always go to a doctor for help and never try to catch or bite a snake.
