Prime Video's 'Ride or Die' to Compete as Comedy Series
Ride or Die is a TV show you can watch on Prime Video.
It is about an assassin named Judith and her best friend Debbie, who gets pulled into a dangerous case.
The show is very popular, and lots of people are watching it.
Critics gave it a score of 98 out of 100.
Because people love it, the show hopes to win big awards.
Awards are shiny prizes for the very best shows and actors.
The show's stars, Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer, want to be named the best comedy actresses.
Even though Ride or Die is an action show, it will compete in the funny-comedy category.
That is because many shows today mix different styles together.
Even without a big advertising campaign, people found the show and told their friends about it.
'Ride or Die' has ranked No. 1 on Prime Video since its July 15 release and holds a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The hourlong action series, created by Tessa Coates, will be submitted in comedy categories for the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.
Stars Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer will both be submitted in the Lead Actress in a Comedy category.
Co-stars Ed Skrein and Bill Nighy will be submitted as Supporting Actors in a Comedy Series.
The show eclipsed Prime Video's young-skewing summer YA titles in ratings despite a smaller marketing campaign, driven largely by word of mouth.
