Gaj Singh's Journey from Child King to Heritage Pioneer

Gaj Singh's Journey from Child King to Heritage Pioneer

Gaj Singh Ji became the king of Jodhpur when he was just four years old after his father died in a plane crash.

He had to take care of the royal family's palaces and forts, which was a big challenge.

He turned their palaces into hotels and museums to make money and preserve their heritage.

He also did a lot of social and environmental work, like starting a foundation to save water in the desert and setting up schools for girls.

A book about his life was recently launched at a big book festival in Jaipur.

He never got involved in politics but was still important in his region.

His story is about how he took care of his family's history and helped his community.
