ED Raids Hyderabad Real Estate Firm
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided a real estate company in Hyderabad called Bhuvana Teja Real Estate Company.
They did this because the company was accused of taking a lot of money from people who wanted to buy apartments before they were built.
The company promised these apartments to people but didn't give them on time.
The ED found that the company might have taken more than Rs 70 crore from customers and didn't use the money properly.
Earlier, another organization called TGRERA had fined the company Rs 14.91 lakh for not giving the apartments on time and told them to give the money back to the customers.
The ED is now checking all the details to see what really happened.
ED raided Bhuvana Teja Real Estate Company at six locations in Hyderabad.
The company is accused of diverting funds collected from customers under pre-launch schemes.
Over Rs 70 crore was collected from customers for pre-launch projects.
TGRERA had previously imposed a penalty of Rs 14.91 lakh for delays in handing over flats.
ED is verifying customer data and the irregularities found during the raids.
