The Padma Shri awards for 2026 have been given to 11 amazing people from West Bengal.

These awards are for people who have done great things in different areas like art, education, and medicine.

One of the winners is a famous actor named Prosenjit Chatterjee, who has been in over 350 movies.

Another winner is a doctor who helps people with heart problems.

There's also a man who makes beautiful cloth using old weaving methods, and a woman who teaches others how to do special embroidery.

One of the awards is being given to a man who was very important in theater, but he passed away last year, so his family will receive it for him.

All these people have worked very hard and have made a big difference in their communities.

The government is honoring them to say thank you for all their hard work.
