BJP Reduces Madhya Pradesh Executive Committee Size
The BJP in Madhya Pradesh is having a hard time announcing their new executive committee.
The central leadership wants to reduce the number of members from 175 to 82.
This means many important leaders, including some who lost elections, might not be included this time.
The party also needs to make sure that one-third of the committee are women leaders.
Because of these rules, the party is taking a long time to announce the new committee and needs approval from the central leadership in Delhi.
BJP's Madhya Pradesh state executive committee size reduced to 82 members from 175.
23 office-bearers, an office secretary, and a media cell in-charge have been announced.
The central leadership has capped the committee size at 105 members.
Important leaders, including those who lost elections, may be excluded this time.
One-third of the committee must consist of women leaders.
