Eknath Shinde Combines London Investor Outreach With Vada Pav
Eknath Shinde is Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister.
He visited the United Kingdom for two days to meet investors and promote business opportunities in Maharashtra.
He asked British companies to bring investment, technology and green capital to the state.
He also spoke about Maharashtra’s goal of becoming a USD 1 trillion economy by 2030.
During the trip, he was seen eating vada pav, a popular Maharashtrian snack, in London.
He met Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and discussed opportunities in sports.
Shinde also spoke with members of the Marathi community and raised the slogan “Jai Maharashtra” at the British Parliament.
He received several awards and honours during the visit.
