The minister highlighted the transformative phase of the healthcare sector driven by digital health, AI, biomedical engineering, and medical innovation.
The MIC will aid in developing new vaccines, diagnostics, integrated data systems, and controlling viral diseases.
A three-day medical conference, MedTechX, was also unveiled during the inauguration.
