New Eco-Tourism Birdwatching Site Set to Open in Tamil Nadu
Imagine a new park opening up just for bird lovers!
It's in Tamil Nadu, near a place called Pulicat.
The government is building it with help from the forest people.
You'll be able to go on boat rides, park your car, and learn about the birds.
They'll have food and bathrooms too.
The best time to see lots of birds is when they're migrating, like November to February.
People from nearby towns will get to help run the park, becoming guides and boat drivers, and they will also earn money.
A new bird-watching eco-tourism site is opening in Thonirevu, near Pulicat Bird Sanctuary, Tamil Nadu.
The site is being developed jointly by the Tiruvallur district administration and the Tamil Nadu Forest Department.
Amenities in the first phase include a boat jetty, parking, boat rides, seating, food kiosks, restrooms, and an interpretation center.
The area is a seasonal home to migratory birds, especially between November and February.
Local communities will be involved through Eco-Development Committees, creating jobs and revenue.
