THRC Investigates Death of Bangladeshi Undertrial in Agartala
Imagine a person from Bangladesh, Aradhan Sarkar, was in jail in India because he entered the country illegally.
Sadly, he got sick and passed away while getting treatment at a hospital in Agartala.
Now, a special group called the Tripura Human Rights Commission wants to know exactly how this happened.
They've asked the prison officers to explain what happened, including all the medical details and a report from a judge.
They want to find out the cause of his death, so they can make sure everything was handled correctly.
