NMMC to Repair Navi Mumbai Roads Ahead of Ganeshotsav
Navi Mumbai has many potholes on its roads.
The city corporation says it will repair them even when another agency is responsible for the road.
Afterward, it plans to recover the repair costs from those agencies.
Workers will patrol the roads and record each pothole’s location using geo-tagging.
Smaller potholes will be repaired with mastic geopolymer technology.
Bigger potholes will be filled with M-60 concrete and hardener technology.
Roads used to reach Ganesh immersion ghats will be fixed first.
The goal is to make travel safer and smoother during Ganeshotsav.
