Meesho Reports Wider Loss in Q3
Meesho, an online shopping company, recently shared its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2026.
The company made a bigger loss compared to the same period last year, mainly because it spent more on improving its delivery services and attracting more users.
Despite this, Meesho's revenue grew by 31%, and more people are using its platform to shop.
The company plans to reduce its losses in the next few months by making its delivery services more efficient.
Meesho's unique business model, which focuses on offering low prices, has gained attention after its successful stock market debut.
Meesho's net loss widened to Rs 490.7 crore in Q3 FY26, up from Rs 37.4 crore in the previous year.
The loss was driven by increased investments in logistics and user growth, which impacted contribution margins.
Revenue from operations rose 31% year-on-year to Rs 3,517.6 crore, with annual transacting users reaching 251 million.
Meesho aims to improve its adjusted Ebitda margin and reach near breakeven levels in the next two quarters.
The company's stock market debut was successful, with its shares more than doubling in value within two weeks.
