NSE IPO Surpasses Hyundai, LIC and Paytm Subscription Records

NSE IPO Surpasses Hyundai, LIC and Paytm Subscription Records

The National Stock Exchange of India offered shares to the public in an IPO.

Many investors subscribed to it, more than they did for several other very large Indian IPOs.

Only Coal India’s earlier IPO had a higher subscription among the large issues mentioned.

NSE’s IPO was priced between Rs 1,700 and Rs 1,785 per share.

The offer ran from September 17 to September 21.

It was expected to begin trading on BSE on September 24.

NSE’s biggest shareholder, LIC, did not sell shares in the offer.

Analysts said investors were attracted by NSE’s strong market position, technology and potential for India’s capital markets to grow.
