Fadnavis Assures Justice To Farmers Over Nashik Ring Road
There is a plan to build a big road called the Nashik Ring Road around the city of Nashik.
Farmers who live near where the road would go were worried.
They thought the road might take away their homes and farm lands.
They also felt they were not being paid enough money for their land.
A group of farmers met with the Chief Minister, the leader of their state, to explain their worries.
The Chief Minister listened and promised that farmers would be treated fairly.
He said nobody would lose their home or land without getting proper payment.
He also paused the road work so everyone could check the plan again.
In ten days, another meeting will happen to decide the final road path and payments.
The farmers were happy with this promise and hope for a fair solution.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured farmers of justice over Nashik Ring Road alignment and land acquisition concerns.
A high-level joint meeting will be held at the Mantralaya within 10 days, chaired by the Chief Minister.
Farmer representatives led by Karan Gaikar of Chhava Krantivir Sena raised issues of alignment, compensation, and valuation errors.
Farmers proposed an alternative alignment route via Gavalwadi to protect homes and agricultural land.
Minister Girish Mahajan was instructed to halt administrative processes until a detailed report is submitted.
