Kerala CM denies snubbing KSU chief

The Chief Minister of Kerala, V D Satheesan, has denied reports that he snubbed the president of the Kerala Students Union (KSU), Aloshious Xavier.

Satheesan stated that he meets thousands of people daily and no one has been denied an appointment.

The controversy arose after Xavier was reportedly ignored during a college program in Kochi.

The KSU has objected to the appointment of a former SFI leader as a government pleader, and Xavier met with the CM to discuss these concerns.

The CM maintains that appointments are based on merit and not under pressure from political or student organizations.
