Jharkhand BJP to Gherao Offices Over Student Demands

Jharkhand BJP to Gherao Offices Over Student Demands

The BJP in Jharkhand plans protests because it says students were treated unfairly.

The party says students were protesting alleged problems in recruitment examinations.

It wants criminal cases against the students to be cancelled.

It also wants the Central Bureau of Investigation to examine recruitment tests from the last seven years.

BJP leader Aditya Sahu said protests would take place across all 24 districts.

Demonstrations will be held in six districts each day from September 8 to 11.

The first protests are planned in Ranchi, Dumka, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Jamshedpur and Garhwa.

The BJP says it will continue protesting until the government addresses the students’ demands.
