Gandhi vs. Shah: Historical Debate in Parliament

In Parliament, Rahul Gandhi and Amit Shah had a big argument.

Rahul said Amit was not answering his questions about making elections fair.

He said the government is not being open about voter lists and the machines that count votes.

Rahul also said the government is trying to control institutions that should be independent.

Amit Shah said the Opposition is worried because they can't win elections fairly.

Later, they had a meeting to pick new people for important jobs.

Rahul disagreed with the names suggested by the government and wrote down his objections.

PM Modi praised Amit Shah's speech, saying he exposed the Opposition's lies.

Amit Shah also talked about history, saying that Jawaharlal Nehru became India's first PM in a way that was not fair to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Mahatma Gandhi preferred Nehru because he thought Nehru was better at talking to the British and was known around the world.
