Naidu Promises BCs 34% of NDA Election Tickets
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said parties in his alliance would give Backward Classes at least 34% of their election candidates.
He said this would help BC communities have more people representing them in politics.
At an event in Narsingolu, he gave land-record books to 1,301 farmers.
He also began a reservoir project that is expected to bring water for farms and homes in nearby villages.
Naidu said court challenges have held up restoring a 34% reservation for BCs in local government.
He described plans for clean tap water, roads, health services, and industrial development.
He said a new digital health platform is planned for January.
