CIDCO Speeds Up 100-Hectare ‘International Educity’ At Panvel
CIDCO is building a big education city called International Educity in Panvel, near the new Navi Mumbai airport.
This city will have campuses of famous universities from other countries, like the University of York and the University of Aberdeen.
It will also have hospitals, sports places, and training centers.
CIDCO has started preparing the land and is inviting companies to help build it.
They have also made agreements with five international universities to set up their campuses there.
The city will be connected by a new metro line and is close to important roads and highways.
This project aims to give students in India a chance to study at top international universities without leaving the country.
CIDCO has accelerated land development and begun e-tendering for the 100-hectare International Educity project in Panvel.
The project aims to integrate global-standard education, healthcare, sports, and skilling facilities in one location.
MoUs have been signed with five international institutions to establish campuses in Navi Mumbai.
The site is strategically located 3–4 km from the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport and is well-connected to major roads and highways.
CIDCO is planning Metro Line M-24 to provide direct mass-transit access to the Educity and nearby areas.
