Burdwan University VC Files Complaint Over Registrar Dispute
The vice-chancellor of Burdwan University went to the police to complain about a problem at work.
He says that someone who was supposed to be in charge of important things at the university, the registrar, was appointed the wrong way.
The person who was chosen, Sujit Kumar Chowdhury, was supposed to have retired but was brought back by the government.
The university had already chosen someone else to do the job.
The police didn't take the case because they said it was up to the higher education department to sort it out.
Chowdhury says he's ready to take charge, but the university won't let him.

The complaint concerned difficulties related to the appointment of the university registrar.
