Chandigarh Literary Society Announces Longlist for Inaugural CLF Literati Awards
A group called the Chandigarh Literary Society is starting a new award to honor great books written in India.
They have just released a long list of books that are being considered for the award.
These books are in both English and Hindi and cover different topics like history, environment, and stories.
The winners will be chosen by judges and celebrated at a big literature festival in Chandigarh in November.
This award wants to shine a light on talented writers from all over India, not just the big cities.
