SCI to Launch Coastal Shipping Service Between Kandla and Thoothukudi
Imagine a big shipping company, SCI, is starting a new route for its container ships.
This new route will go between Kandla and Thoothukudi, connecting Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
They're changing the path of an existing service called SMILE to do this.
This will make it easier to ship things like cotton, chemicals, solar panels, and car parts between these two places.
The first ship is scheduled to visit Thoothukudi on June 16.
The company discussed the details and at the end of the day their share price dropped a bit.
