Tesla Cybertruck Achieves Good Crash Test Results
The Tesla Cybertruck was tested for safety by the IIHS.
It did well in crash tests, keeping the driver safe, but the back seat passenger had a higher risk of chest injury.
The truck also did well at avoiding crashes.
However, its headlights weren't very good; they didn't light up the road well and created too much glare.
Because of this, the Cybertruck did not win a Top Safety Pick award.
Other cars, like the BMW i4 and Chevrolet Blazer EV, did well, while the Tesla Model 3 didn't do as well.
The Tesla Cybertruck received a 'Good' overall rating in crash tests.
The Cybertruck performed well in collision avoidance tests.
Headlights received a 'Poor' rating due to poor illumination and glare.
A rear passenger dummy recorded a moderate risk of chest injury.
