BRICS Leaders’ Spouses Set for Delhi Cultural Itinerary

BRICS Leaders’ Spouses Set for Delhi Cultural Itinerary

The spouses of leaders attending the BRICS Summit may take part in a special programme in Delhi.

The programme is meant to show them India’s arts, crafts, markets and historic places.

They may visit the Crafts Bazaar at Bharat Mandapam.

Other planned stops include a hotel lunch, a museum and an art gallery.

Officials are also considering markets such as Khan Market, Chandni Chowk and Janpath.

Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and the Red Fort are possible heritage visits.

The schedule is not final because officials must consider time, security and traffic.

Police will use plainclothes officers and cameras to help keep the visitors safe.
