World's Tallest Shiva Lingam Arrives in Bihar
A very big and heavy Shiva Lingam, which is said to be the tallest in the world, has arrived in Bihar after a long journey from Tamil Nadu.
This Lingam is made from a single black granite rock and has 1,008 smaller Shiva Lingams carved on it.
It will be installed in a new temple called the Virat Ramayana Temple, which is being built in East Champaran.
The temple is very big and will have many towers and smaller temples inside.
Many important people, including the Chief Minister of Bihar, will be present for the installation.
The Lingam traveled more than 3,000 kilometers and was welcomed by large crowds along the way.
The temple is expected to be completed by 2030.
A 33-foot-long, 210-tonne Shiva Lingam, touted as the world's tallest, arrived in Bihar from Tamil Nadu.
The Lingam will be installed at the under-construction Virat Ramayana Temple in Kaithwalia, East Champaran, on January 17.
The temple is a 125-acre, Rs 500-crore project featuring a 270-feet-tall main structure with 18 towers and 22 temples.
The Lingam was carved from a single black granite rock and has 1,008 smaller Shiva Lingams on it, taking three years to complete.
