Visakhapatnam Port Authority Wins Swachhata Pakhwada Award 2024

Imagine a big competition to see which port is the cleanest and best for the environment.

Visakhapatnam Port Authority, called VPA, worked really hard on making their port clean and green.

They did things like cleaning up a lot, planting gardens, getting rid of plastic, and using special machines to control dust.

Because they did such a good job, they won the top prize in the Swachhata Pakhwada Awards 2024!

Another port in Kolkata got second place, and a special maritime school got third place.

This award shows that VPA is a leader in taking care of the environment while running a busy port.
