BJP Alleges Telangana Congress Government Neglects Student Fee Reimbursements

A Bharatiya Janata Party leader said many students in Telangana are being hurt because colleges have not received fee reimbursement money.

She said the unpaid amount is about Rs 15,000 crore.

According to her, some colleges are keeping students’ certificates until the money is paid.

Without their certificates, students may have trouble finding jobs.

She made these comments at a protest in Hanamkonda.

She blamed the Congress government for not clearing the payments.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has referred to arrears left by earlier governments.

The Bharatiya Janata Party said it may hold stronger protests if the dues are not released.
