BJP rejects report on Pradhan portfolio change offer
The BJP has strongly denied a report published in The Indian Express.
The report said that before Dharmendra Pradhan resigned, the government offered to change his portfolio to resolve issues with the CJP.
The BJP says the report is completely made up.
The Indian Express, however, stands by its story.
The BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra, said the report has no basis in fact.
The government representatives, J P Nadda and Jitendra Singh, reportedly suggested a new Education Minister to end the protests, but the CJP insisted Pradhan must go.
The BJP rejects a report by The Indian Express as 'completely baseless'.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra called the report 'entirely fictional and unfounded'.
