17-Year-Old Builds Platform for Indian Artisans

A 17-year-old boy named Yuvan Aggarwal created a special platform called Hunarsetu.

This platform helps Indian artisans, like potters and woodworkers, sell their handmade products directly to customers using WhatsApp.

Before this, many artisans had to rely on middlemen or festivals to sell their goods, which made their income unstable.

Hunarsetu allows artisans to take photos of their products, set prices, and receive orders all through WhatsApp.

The platform does not charge any commission and helps artisans get a fair price for their work.

So far, it has helped over 4,000 artisans and facilitated thousands of orders.

Yuvan's goal is to make life easier for these artisans and ensure they have a steady income.
