JB Ecotex Files DRHP for Rs 400 Crore IPO

JB Ecotex wants to sell shares to the public through an IPO.

It has submitted an IPO document called a draft red herring prospectus to SEBI.

The IPO may include Rs 400 crore of new shares and the sale of 1.29 crore existing shares.

The company may first raise up to Rs 80 crore through a pre-IPO placement.

Most of the new money, or Rs 320 crore, would be used to repay debt.

The remaining money would support general business needs such as expansion, marketing and capital spending.

JB Ecotex makes recycled materials from plastic bottles.

Its revenue and profit increased in FY26 compared with FY25.

However, the company says it faces risks because it relies heavily on one product and on the domestic market.
