Sabarimala Pilgrims Advised to Avoid Forest Routes
Many people are going to Sabarimala for a special prayer time called Mandala Puja.
Over 27 lakh devotees have already visited this season.
The police have asked pilgrims to avoid the difficult forest paths, especially the Pulmedu route, which is about 16km long.
This is because these paths are hard to walk, and there are no nearby hospitals.
Only very fit people should take this path, and only 1,000 people are allowed per day.
Those without a special booking should first go to Nilakkal to get a spot.
The police also said that no special passes are being given to people coming from Erumely.
This is all to keep everyone safe.
