British Climber Kenton Cool Sets New Everest Ascent Record
Imagine a super strong mountain climber from Britain named Kenton Cool.
He just climbed Mount Everest for the 19th time!
That's like going to the highest playground in the world again and again.
He's broken his own record for the most times someone who isn't a Sherpa (a special mountain guide from Nepal) has climbed it.
He first climbed it in 2004 and usually goes every year.
Other climbers were with him.
He's getting close to the top!
Other climbers will try to climb before the season ends.
The record for most climbs is held by a Nepali Sherpa guide named Kami Rita who is also on the mountain.
Kenton Cool, a British climber, summited Mount Everest for the 19th time.
This ascent breaks his personal record for non-Sherpa ascents.
The climb took place on Sunday with other climbers.
Cool first climbed Everest in 2004 and has returned nearly every year since.
