Nifty 50 Declines Amid Gold Rally
The Nifty 50 index, which tracks the top 50 companies in India, has been going down for five weeks in a row.
This week, it fell by 645 points, which is about 2.45%.
The Sensex also dropped by 604.72 points, or 0.72%.
At the same time, gold has been doing really well, going up by more than 70% in the past year.
This has made the Nifty-gold ratio very low.
Experts say this is because people are being more careful and putting their money into safer things like gold.
They think the Nifty might keep going down to around 25,400, but if it starts to go up again from there, it could be a good sign for the stock market.
Some experts also think the Nifty could go up to 28,500 in the future.
They advise traders to be careful and not take big risks right now.
Some say any small upward movement should be used to sell, not to buy more.
They also suggest keeping an eye on global events that could affect the market.
As for gold and silver, they might not keep going up as fast as they have been, but they could still reach higher prices.
Experts recommend putting about 15% of your money into precious metals, with most of that going into gold.
Nifty 50 index fell 645 points (2.45%) this week, marking its fifth straight weekly decline.
The index is now testing its medium-term support zone around the 100-day EMA at 25,600.
Experts warn of potential further declines to 25,400 if the index breaks below the support level.
Gold has outperformed the Nifty 50 significantly, rising over 70% in the past year, pushing the Nifty-gold ratio to depressed levels.
Analysts see room for further adjustment in the Nifty-gold ratio, with potential deterioration toward the 5.50–4.85 range.
