Flood-Like Conditions Hit Five Bihar Districts as Rivers Rise

Heavy rain in Nepal and Jharkhand caused several rivers in Bihar to rise.

Water levels went above the danger marks in many places.

Five districts were officially described as facing flood-like conditions.

Low-lying areas in several other districts were also affected.

The Ganga, Kosi, Gandak and other rivers flooded some areas.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary viewed the affected regions from the air.

He asked officials to provide help quickly and protect people and property.

Officials are watching embankments and other vulnerable places closely.

No deaths have been reported so far, and some people were moved to safer locations.
