ADG Officers in Madhya Pradesh Face Work Imbalance
In Madhya Pradesh, there are not enough top police officers called ADGs.
Some ADGs who came back from special jobs a month ago still don't have any work to do.
They don't even have their own offices.
Meanwhile, other ADGs are very busy, doing two or three jobs at the same time.
This is because there are only 16 ADGs in the whole state.
The government is expected to give jobs to the idle ADGs by the end of January.
This situation shows that the police headquarters needs to manage their officers' work better.
Two ADG officers returned from deputation over a month ago but have not been assigned duties or given chambers.
Only 16 ADG officers currently serve in Madhya Pradesh, leading to a shortage.
Several ADG officers are handling multiple responsibilities, including DP Gupta managing five branches and A. Sai Manohar overseeing both Intelligence and the Cyber Cell.
Transfers of recently promoted officers are expected, which may include key assignments for the idle ADGs.
The situation raises questions about resource allocation and workload management at the police headquarters.
