Lodhi Garden to Get New Gravel Walking Path by July 2025
Imagine a playground where instead of a bouncy floor, there's a path made of small stones, like the ones used in gardens!
That's what's being built at Lodhi Garden.
It's a new walking path made of gravel, perfect for running and walking.
This path is supposed to be easier on your feet than a regular path and also requires less care.
The people in charge want to make it easier for everyone to be healthy and active.
If this path works well, they might build similar ones in other parks.
The path is also designed to be more sustainable.
They're also working on other things, like bike paths and gyms in other parks.
NDMC is building a gravel-surfaced walking path at Lodhi Garden.
The path aims to provide a softer and safer experience for joggers and walkers.
The project is inspired by a similar track at Siri Fort Sports Complex.
The track will have a sprinkler system to control dust.
NDMC plans to replicate the track in other parks if successful.
