UPSC to Implement AI Facial Recognition in All Exams
The UPSC is now using a new AI system that checks if exam takers are who they say they are.
This system uses facial recognition to quickly match faces with photos from their applications.
The pilot program was tested and found to be successful, with each scan taking only a few seconds.
This should make exams more secure and faster to get through.
UPSC plans to use this technology in all exams, including the civil services exams.
UPSC successfully tested AI facial recognition for candidate verification.
The pilot program was conducted in Gurugram.
The trials involved NDA & NA II and CDS II exams.
The technology was developed in collaboration with NeGD.
