Jharkhand Flags Gaps in Single Window Integration
The Jharkhand government has found that many important services are not yet fully connected to their Single Window System.
This system is supposed to make it easier for businesses to get approvals and licenses.
The government has given departments until the end of the year to fix this.
Some services, like those related to labor and factories, are doing better, but others, like those related to urban development and real estate, are lagging behind.
The goal is to make everything digital and connected so that businesses can operate more smoothly.
Only 32 of 80 critical services are fully integrated with the Jharkhand Single Window System (JSWS).
15 services are operating through redirection, and 33 are not available on the system.
Departments have been instructed to complete the integration process by December 31, 2025.
Better progress has been seen in labor-related services and factory registrations, while major shortfalls remain in urban development and real estate-related registrations.
Full integration is aimed at improving ease of doing business, enhancing transparency, and strengthening inter-departmental coordination.
