Noida Student’s Sutradhar Turns Textile Waste Into Women’s Wages

Noida Student’s Sutradhar Turns Textile Waste Into Women’s Wages

Rahini started Sutradhar in 2024 to help women earn money from home.

The women learn skills such as sewing, embroidery, and knitting.

They receive leftover fabric from textile factories instead of buying new material.

Sutradhar also gives them paid orders to make clothes and other useful products.

The project began with six women and now includes more than 250 people.

They earn between ₹4,000 and ₹25,000 each month.

Many participants use the money to support their children’s education or pay for their own studies.

The project helps families while also reducing textile waste.
