Sanjay Raut Demands Maharashtra Election Cancellation, CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation

Sanjay Raut says Maharashtra’s Assembly elections were not fair.

He accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of helping the BJP and Eknath Shinde.

Raut demanded that Kumar resign and face legal action.

He also said the election should be cancelled.

Raut criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove him.

His comments followed an Indian Express report about disagreements inside the Election Commission.

The report said two election commissioners objected 14 times to certain decisions.

Those decisions involved adding, deleting and restoring voters’ names.

The article does not give a response from Gyanesh Kumar to Raut’s allegations.
