Laura Donnelly to Star in ITV's Serial Killer Drama 'The Dark'
Imagine a new TV show is being made based on a book.
It's about a detective named Monica Kennedy, played by Laura Donnelly, who has to solve a scary crime in Scotland.
Someone is killing people, and it looks like the beginning of a very frightening series of events.
The show will be filmed in Glasgow.
The people making the show think it's going to be really good, like some classic crime movies from the past.
It is being produced by a company that used to make shows for the BBC, and the hope is that there will be more seasons based on the books.
Laura Donnelly to star in ITV and Ben Stephenson's new serial killer drama 'The Dark'.
Donnelly will play Detective Monica Kennedy in the adaptation of GR Halliday's novel 'From the Shadows'.
The series is set in the Scottish wilderness, where a young man's body is found.
